From Away Woes to Home Hope: Shooting Stars Seek Redemption vs Nasarawa United

After the road nightmare, the Oluyole Warriors are back home to heal.

Shooting Stars must make Lekan Salami count tomorrow, Sunday, October 4, 2026, when Nasarawa United come to Ibadan.

And this one is more than just 3 points. It is about response.

Four straight away defeats have put pressure on the team, and now the boys need to show what they are made of in front of their own fans.

Shooting Stars currently sit 16th on the table with 6 points, while the Solid Miners are 14th with 7 points.

Just one point between both sides.

Omo, tomorrow we have to start fast and end this anxiety.

No more wasted chances. The defence must be tight, the midfield must be alive, and when the chances come, we have to bury them.

Interestingly, Nasarawa United are also struggling on the road this season. They are yet to pick a point away from home, so this is another opportunity for Shooting Stars to put pressure on them from the first whistle.

The Solid Miners are coming into this game after their second win of the season, with left-back Harrison Ebah playing hero by scoring the goal that secured the victory.

But make we talk about our own boys.

AGBAA AND AULE SHIRSHA ARE KNOCKING

Mustapha Adam Agbaa and Johnmark Aule Shirsha are both doing the talking on the pitch.

Both players came on as substitutes away from home on Wednesday and both ended up on the scoresheet.

That is the kind of statement you make when you want the gaffer to notice you.

Salisu Yusuf now has a decision to make.

A better starting lineup could make a big difference tomorrow. Agbaa and Aule Shirsha have given the coach something to think about, and if they get their opportunity from the start, they need to grab it with both hands.

IBADAN MUST HEAL THE WOUNDS

This is where we need to see a response.

Four away defeats have hurt, but Lekan Salami is home.

The fans are here.

The points are available.

And the boys need to give us something to celebrate.

This is a must-win for confidence, for the table and for the fans who travel everywhere with this team.

Ibadan heals wounds.

No long story tomorrow.

3 POINTS.

UP SHOOTING. UP STARS.
